Description

Texas Edible Landscapes, in cooperation with Permaculture Education, LLC. announces its next workshop!

This is the second in a series of workshops where we are designing a community food forest! The workshops will be hosted on the site of the upcoming garden. We will be designing, building, planting, maintaining and harvesting the exact food forest system where we are hosting these workshops.  You will also be learning valuable skills on how to create a home orchard in your own backyard!

Come, learn and hang out and make friends with like-minded individuals who also want to learn how to grow their own organic, nutrient dense food with minimal effort and maintenance!

Be aware, we are limiting this event to only 30 participants and we are giving priority reservations to our founding participants.  Those involved in the workshops and putting in the sweat equity will also enjoy the fruits of their labor by being able to harvest once produce is ripe!

We are also happy to announce a HUGE discount for this workshop.  These workshops normally sell for $50, which is a great deal especially with lunch being provided.  We ran an introductory special last time for $20 off if you purchased your tickets during a specific time period.  For those of you who got that attended the first workshop, we are offering the SAME DISCOUNT if you bring another participant, who, as your guest, will also get the same discount!  This means instead of $50 each, it will only be $30 for each participant, and yes, this still includes lunch!  To qualify for this deal, you must have participated in the first event and you must bring a new participant to this event.  If you plan on bringing a guest and would like the discount code, please contact me using the form below and I’ll get it back to you right away.

We also give a 10% discount to veterans, first responders, teachers and seniors.  Please contact me before, not after, buying your ticket and I’ll send you a discount code for that.  Please note, I cannot combine the two discounts.

This workshop will be Saturday, March 17, with a rain-out backup date of March 24 (my birthday) or 31, depending on the weather.  I know this is a lot of variables, but we are coming up to the rainiest part of the year and ya never know when we could have a deluge.
